Robin Johnston - Level 4 Ski Instructor
Based in Niseko, Rusutsu, and Kiroro
Why Choose me?
I work with Hokkaido Collective in the Niseko area, a small School of only the most experienced and fully qualified Instructors.
With 16 years of teaching skiing full time around the world, making your experience unforgettable is my goal.

Being a small independent operator, all of my guests are much more than another day on my calendar, it's an opportunity to bring someone into my world of Snow sports and create a life time skier.

For me, my guest experience goes beyond skiing tuition; transport to and from your hotel and the lifts, rentals, restaurant advice, trips into the local town, it's all part of the successful Niseko experience.

A full day lesson is 6 hours and you have the option to ski the night until 7pm as well, a truly incredible experience that is part of Japanese skiing culture.

Hey mate, just want to say a massive thank you for all the training over the last two seasons. Without it I wouldn’t have smashed this exam as hard as I did. It was pretty gnarly and intense but I was definitely ready for it after some of those Stoke sessions.
In the teaching exam I also got graded as Staatlich and apparently it was the best teaching exam he’s ever seen since starting being an examiner 9 years ago. I fully put that down to watching you teach Stoke and adopting some ways you get us to feel our skis. I used the pushing on the hands drill in it and hip position
